BUNAKEN NATIONAL MARINE PARK
Diving around Bunaken and the surrounding islands within the archipelago is a truly unique opportunity.
Incredible biodiversity is found here, from over 290 species of coral and the tiny macro life hiding within, to rays and sharks passing by in the blue.
The islands within the archipelago sit atop reefs, which drop off into deeper waters.
This topography makes for stunning wall dives.
There can be currents along the walls, which bring nutrients to the species that call Bunaken their home.
The currents also give opportunity for great drift dives at certain sites.
Whatever your experience level, there is something for everyone here.
