We're located on Pangalisang Beach, on the East coast of Bunaken - the perfect place from which to explore Bunaken National Park.

We have built within the natural environment here, and we want to keep things as aligned to this. Our system is designed to take as little from the island as possible, and work with local communities.

We have 4 resort dogs, Cheetah, Milka, Jojo and Bono - they are all super friendly and love a cuddle. Please feel free to play with them, but we ask you do not feed them.

All of our staff are experienced in their roles, and available to help with whatever you need. Please feel free to drop by the office anytime, with any questions.

The main village is 10-15 minutes by walk upon exiting the resort to the left. Small shops, cafes and restaurants can be found and the pier has great sunset views.

If you take 'Bunaken Highway' to the right instead, you can find Bunaken Cafe a 10 minute walk away - our local bar.

Services

Diving

We run diving trips everyday!

Our morning trip leaves 08:00 - this is a 2 dive trip, and returns for lunch.
Our afternoon trip leaves 14:30 - this is a 1 dive trip, and returns 16:00.
We can also offer night dives on request, leaving around 17:45.
- Diving packages are available - no need to pre-book, we will work out the best price for you at the end of your stay, so you can dive flexibly.
- Dive plans are made the afternoon prior to the next day's diving, please let us know around 15:30 the day before if you'd like to join the next day's diving. You can see the plan in the restaurant.
- You can rent all equipment you need with us, just come by the office to get the right sizes.
If you'd like to join the dive boat for snorkeling, you're more than welcome.

Courses

We run SSI dive courses for all levels, from TryScuba and Open Water to Divemaster.

Our instructors are more than happy to help you decide what course is best for your next step.

Trips

We offer trips around Bunaken National Park and Northern Sulawesi.

Transport

We can arrange transport to and from most locations you may need to get to, this includes all Manado locations (airport, hotels) and further afield. Please come by the office to discuss.

The public boat to Manado runs Monday - Saturday. Typically the boat leaves Bunaken 09:00 and arrives to Manado city centre at 10:30, this is weather dependent.

We can arrange transport to and from the boat in Bunaken.

Typically the boat returns to Bunaken from Manado at 14:30, arriving at 16:00.

The public boat costs 50.000 IDR per person, each way.

Housekeeping

Rooms are cleaned every 2 days, with additional service on request.

We do all payments at the end of your stay, we accept cash (Euro, Dollar and IDR), card payments (2% charge), and bank transfers for Euro and IDR accounts.

Manado Tua Hiking - 1/2 day

This trip takes you to a local volcano only 20 minutes by boat from Bunaken.
We leave around 07:00 to meet with your guide. Starting at the
base of the volcano, you will hike up to a view point from which you can see across Bunaken National Park. The hike up lasts ~2 hours.

Dolphin Trip - 1/2 day

Leaving early in the morning for best conditions, this trip by boat sets out to the centre of Bunaken National Park. 5 species of dolphin are found here; Spinner, Risso’s, Bottlenose, Orca, and Pilot whales. After spending some time with the dolphins, we head to nearby reefs to finish with snorkeling, where turtles, corals and lots of schooling fish are found.
We leave ~08:00 and return ~17:00.

Minhasa - day trip

Minhasa is a local market town where you can make your own souvenirs such as clay pottery - local style! There are also hot springs close by.
We leave ~08:00 and return ~17:00.

Trips

Tangkoko Nature Reserve - 1/2 day | full day

The Tangkoko Nature reserve is home to Tarsiers, Black Macaque monkeys, the Cuscus, Hornbills, and Makeo birds - many species found only in North Sulawesi.
For the half day, we head straight to the nature reserve. For the full day, we visit the waterfalls, followed by the reserve.

We leave ~08:00 and return ~17:00.

Tomohon Trip - full day

This is a full day trip to Tomohon, a town ~1 hour 45 mins from Bunaken. Here you will be able to explore the local market, finding handmade clothes, jewellery and condiments. There are many local dishes to try, with livestock markets too.
We leave ~08:00 and return ~17:00.

Mount Lokon - full trip

Mount Lokon is a twin volcano to Mount Empuna, there are stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, Tomohon town, and local agricultural lands.
We leave ~08:00 and return ~16:00.
